BNI is the largest business referral organization in the world.

The SF West Bay Region in 2009 had 600 members, in 27 chapters.  Members passed 26,000 referrals totaling 11million dollars in business.  As for a whole organization, BNI has 111,000 members, in 40 countries, and passed 5.6 million referrals totaling 2.3 billion dollars worth of business
